Location: Brussels / Client: Financial Service Tasks and Responsibilities:

Develop, test and manage BI solutions (ability to create/read code and support applications, reports and processes) in Power BI technology

Collaborate with business users

Coach and train business users in the use of the BI workbench (creation of reports, graphs, etc.)

Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, technical artifacts and user manuals

Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions

Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations

Participates in and supports the estimation of technical tasks and activities on project work

Participates in project planning, estimation, standup and status meetings as appropriate.

Specific skills:

Minimum 8 years of experience as a BI Analyst or BI Analyst/developer in a Microsoft BI

Practical experience in developing reports in SQL Server 2019 or higher, with Power BI and online analytical processing (SSAS) cubes that use the existing data warehouse to provide self-service business intelligence capabilities to supervisory teams

Practical experience in developing data integration with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Practical experience in realizing business information projects where data integration, data quality and user experience (UX) are key success factors

Experience in coaching and training of end users

Microsoft MCP certificate or equivalent is a plus.

General skills:

Fluent in Fr or NL, understanding FR/NL /EN

Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

An analytical, structured and creative mind

Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team (motivated team player).
